Many of us have experienced losses of family members and friends. Grief affects people differently, but all of us are touched by deep sorrow in our losses. UBC is initiating a group that could be helpful for fellow travelers who are tasting grief. The idea is to provide a time when we can gather with people who know loss, people with whom we can share or with whom we can rest, people with whom we can pray or ask to pray for us, people who value the journey we are on and are discovering that grief is not a destination or a temporary stop along the way but a part of us now. Our first group will meet at UBC on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the narthex, the upstairs space just outside the sanctuary. If you have interest in this type of group or would like additional information, please contact the Rev. Ken Watkins by e-mail or by phone at 1-585-281-8394.
