A Message from the University Baptist Church Pastoral Assistant for Campus Ministry
Hello and welcome!
I’m Julius Mayo, and I have the pleasure (and joy) of working with the weekly student group held in the church narthex.
I have been at University Baptist since I was a Frosh at Ohio State, and even lived across the street at Taylor Tower until I graduated. I currently work in University Housing here at OSU in addition to my duties with the church.
Each week our group does everything from discussing current events from a Christian perspective, to taking a reflective look at the teachings of the Bible, to fun nights out on the town (at the movies, out bowling, or some other interesting place.) And on top of all that we enjoy a tasty light meal as well!
So, if you are interested in a good way to spend some positive time with other great students on campus, please stop by and join us.
Our group meets Thursdays @ 7 PM in the University Baptist Church narthex beginning September 21, 2006.
